Our target
Veln.ai targets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We treat accessibility as a baseline, not a feature. Founders and evaluators across abilities must be able to complete every workflow on the platform — application intake, scoring, document drafting, data-room sharing — using assistive technology.
What we have shipped
Every page uses semantic HTML with a single main landmark, a visible skip link, and full keyboard navigation. Form error containers carry role="alert" so screen readers announce them. Progress bars expose ARIA progressbar attributes (aria-valuenow, aria-valuemin, aria-valuemax). Body text meets the WCAG 4.5:1 contrast ratio against the background, and interactive controls meet 3:1. Focus rings are visible on every focusable element. Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Known gaps
Two surfaces are not yet fully assistive-technology friendly. The portfolio Kanban board uses drag-and-drop for column reorder; a list-view alternative with keyboard reordering is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. The presenter-mode pitch viewer relies on visual slide transitions; a screen-reader-friendly outline view will ship alongside the list-view work. We document these gaps openly rather than claim full conformance.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter a barrier we have not addressed, please tell us. We treat accessibility findings the same as security findings — every report gets a response within five business days, and confirmed barriers ship a fix on the next deploy. Include the page URL, the assistive technology you used, and what you expected to happen.
