Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Veln.ai (“the Service”), operated by Veln.io (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including founders, studio operators, and administrators.
Description of Service
Veln.ai is a venture studio operating system that helps founders document their company knowledge, generate investor materials, and share them with potential investors. The Service includes AI-powered document generation, knowledge management, data room sharing, and analytics features.
Accounts and access
Access to Veln.ai is by invitation only. Your account is created when an organisation administrator invites you or when you create an organisation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; (c) use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent investor materials; (d) share your account credentials with others; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
Your content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Veln.ai, including company truths, documents, financial data, and pitch materials. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your content as needed to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than delivering the Service to you.
AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to help generate documents such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and investor briefs. AI-generated content is a draft, not a verdict. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all generated content before sharing it with investors or other third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
Data room sharing
When you create share links for your data room, you control which documents are included and who receives access. You are responsible for the content you share and for revoking access when appropriate. We track viewing analytics (page views, time spent) to help you understand investor engagement. Viewers may be required to provide their email before accessing shared materials.
Payment and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by Veln.io and protected by intellectual property laws. Your right to use the Service is limited to the licence granted in these terms. The Veln.ai name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks of Veln.io.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We will make your data available for export for a reasonable period after termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
